LANGUAGE STREAM

The Language Stream is a vital structure within the Hawaasa College of Teacher Education providing training for both Pre-service and In-Service Teachers. It comprises three departments: Sidaamu Afoo, Amharic, and English. Each   department has its own instructors, students, courses and various activities.  Sidaamu Afoo offers Sidaama Cultural Studies, cultural performances, drama, and theatres; Amharic offers drama, and theatres; English offers ELIC with a variety activities, drama, and theatres. The motto of the stream is to produce qualified and effective language teachers for our communities and excel in providing   quality education.
